To celebrate the national release of the highly anticipated summer movie Top Gun: Maverick, Doherty Enterprises, an Applebee’s franchisee, announced today that its Applebee’s® restaurants in Long Island, NY; New Jersey; Florida and Georgia will host a special, Top Gun: Maverick opening night deal. Guests who come to a Doherty owned-and-operated Applebee’s on May 27 dressed as a Top Gun: Maverick character can ask for a free appetizer valued up to $13.49*.
The offer is valid only on Friday, May 27, 2022 and only at the Doherty-owned Applebee’s restaurants listed below. Guest must mention the offer and ask for the free appetizer.

Top Gun: Maverick is the long-awaited sequel to Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise, which premiered in 1986. Now 36 years later, Top Gun: Maverick will debut in movie theaters nationwide on May 27.
