Though humble, she has not ruled out becoming the next Oprah. She plans to use her new platform at www.MaryExtraOrdinary.com as a “finishing school” for young women of all backgrounds. Inspired by Texas neighbor Beyonce’s song “Flawless”, she loves to share quotes like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie:

We raise girls to see each other as competitors
Not for jobs or for accomplishments
Which I think can be a good thing
But for the attention of men
