Award Winning Production Holds its 5th Annual Labor of Love Fashion Week

501(C)(3) Non-Profit, Labor of Love, focuses on love, inclusion & fashion

Aug. 3, 2021 / PRZen / CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Having recently won both Producer of the Year (Christopher Goff) and Fashion Week of the Year at the Carolina Fashion Awards, the 5 Year Anniversary Labor of Love Fashion Week will be held the week of August 17th.

More than design and fashion, Team Topher’s mission is to support teens aged out of foster care by providing financial support, professional attire, educational lessons, and a network of opportunities in our local community. Team Topher is backed and supported by Christography, a fashion show production company whose mission is to support local non-profit organizations while promoting artistic expression, equality, and philanthropy with a focus on youth programs.

This year, Labor of Love will be held at several luxury apartment communities. With the exception of invitation-only guests, the shows will be exclusively for the communities’ residents, providing them the runway experience in their uniquely charming amenities. Designers will have naturally stunning backdrops with one of a kind views of the Queen City. The communities are:

  • Tuesday, 08/17 – Museum Tower – Press and Kick-off
  • Thursday, 08/19 – Element Uptown – L’elite Masculine
  • Friday, 08/20 – Inspire Southpark – Una Notte d’arte

Labor of Love’s long-term goal is to have a home to transition some of the teens tragically aged out of the foster system into either college or the workforce. In the meantime, the team teaches workshops throughout the year on tax preparation, the FAFSA, college applications, interviewing, etiquette, attire, and other professional life skills they may need for success.
