He would wake me up at different times during the night with lyrics. While I was cooking, hanging out with friends, I would stop in the middle of whatever I was doing and jot them down. Last poem I remember was February of 2018, and then in July that same year, I said to the Lord, ‘You haven’t given me any poems lately,’ and He replied, ‘You haven’t done anything with the ones that I have given you.’ That is when I mailed them in to Christian Faith Publishing in August 2018.”
