Atlanta’s Spice House Celebrates Black Music Month Every Month, With Its Popular R&B Wednesdays and Caribbean Legendary Lane Sundays

Atlanta, GA – June 29, 2022 – In addition to its authentic Caribbean food and decor making it a quick weekly get-away for its clientele, Spice House Restaurants in metro-Atlanta are attracting lovers of local, national and internationally-known R&B, Urban and Caribbean performing artists, to live performances at the restaurants.

On Wednesday evenings or during their Sunday brunches, patrons of Spice House Restaurant and Lounge in Stonecrest, GA., are as apt to experience well-known performers by R&B artists like 112, Sunshine Anderson, Regina Belle, Sammie, or popular Caribbean artists like Glen Washington and Anthony Malvo.

“Black Music Month is definitely a time to celebrate and acknowledge the wonderful creative and musical artistry of African-American and Caribbean performing artists, both old school and new school, established and aspiring artists,” says Anthony “Ace” Carrington, a partner at Spice House Restaurants. “Our goal at Spice House Restaurants is to bring together the artistry of Caribbean food with the artistry of black music for the enjoyment of our customers, as often as possible,” he said.  “We’re excited to be able to have both well known, and aspiring performing artists from the R&B and Caribbean music genres perform at our restaurant lounge,” he said.

The four Spice House restaurants located in metro-Atlanta tap into the cultural diversity found in metro-Atlanta and leverage the fact that Caribbean culinary cuisines have many influences from food and cultures from around the world.  As a result, the menu at Spice House creatively incorporates the influences of dishes from various islands like Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad, Cuba, Virgin Islands, etc. and serve popular Caribbean dishes like oxtails and rice and peas, while infusing flavors and dishes unique to certain islands, such as Haitian Black Mushroom Rice, Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls, Yuca Fries, etc.

The four Spice House Atlanta restaurants are located at 2247 Cascade RD SW Atlanta, Ga; 375 14th St NW Atlanta, GA;  2617 Panola Rd, Stonecrest, GA., and 2591 Piedmont Rd NE Atlanta, GA.
