Vaekke was recognized as a private limited company by Startup India!
Startup India awarded the certificate of recognition to Vaekke EYFS Private Limited on 17th May 2022, with validity extending to 5th August 2031. The certificate substantiates that Vaekke is now a Private Limited Company (PLC) in the eyes of Startup India and the government by extension.
Established by the Government of India in 2016, Startup India is a flagship project that serves to recognize entrepreneurship and innovation. Its primary drive is to foster a strong startup culture, and also to ensure a simpler and enhanced regulatory environment.
Vaekke, on the other hand, is an educational empowerment project curated from over 2 decades of kindergarten experience. It is designed to ensure holistic sensory and emotional intelligence growth throughout the EFYS stage, during which the majority of brain development occurs in preschoolers.
After weeks of vetting and assessments, the award is proof that Vaekke is a tried-and-tested kinesthetic-focused preschool program that’s destined for even greater heights. The EQ-centric preschool initiative has been on an upward spiral since it burst onto the scene as a safer and more effective mainstream preschool solution during the Covid pandemic, and it seems now that the sky is the limit for the company.
The PLC recognition by Startup India adds to Vaekke’s ever-growing list of certifications, which now also includes the PIE award certificate of excellence and the ISO 9001:2015 certification obtained early on in 2022.
In particular, this incorporation also now means Vaekke is recognized as a distinct legal entity. This allows the company to seek out new & legitimate partnerships with other businesses in and beyond India, enabling Vaekke to fulfill its national and global expansion plans.
