Adult ADHD Symptoms/Treatment – Emotional Sensitivity Private Coaching Update

Dr. Tracy Thomas, a psychologist, emotional scientist, and author based in Northern California, has announced a private coaching service catering to adults with ADHD.

The latest announcement comes from the understanding that while tools and resources for children and young people who need to manage the prevalent condition are widely available, many adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) get left behind. As a consequence, they often feel that their lives are out of their control.

The update coincides with the latest figures from the CDC, which indicated that about 6.1 million, or 9.4% of children in the United States between the ages of 2 to 17, have been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. By comparison, the overall prevalence of current adult ADHD is 4.4%. However, taking into account the significantly larger size of the adult population in the country, this means some 11.3 million adults are currently living with the condition.

Dr. Tracy Thomas understands that figure also doesn’t take into account those adults who are living without a diagnosis but who are experiencing the key characteristics of the condition.

As such, her new coaching service offers readers a pathway to understanding whether they may in fact have adult ADHD. Dr. Tracy perceives that ADHD in adults often presents as a form of emotional sensitivity. However, social stigmas and barriers mean that the behaviors manifested by adults with the condition are often misunderstood or maligned.

On the contrary, in her sessions, she presents her clients with new strategies that will help them take control of their lives and identify the many benefits that are in fact concomitant with the disorder.

Dr. Tracy is also proud to present similar advice on emotional sensitivity to interested followers in her new self-help book ‘The Commitments’. More information about the book can be accessed at https://www.drtracyinc.com/the-commitments

Following its release at the end of last year, the book has already been awarded official bestseller status by Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and The Wall Street Journal. It offers all readers, both with or without ADHD, an actionable step-by-step guide to transforming themselves and their lives.

Dr. Tracy understands that meaningful transformations take commitment. Therefore, she predicates both her new book and new ADHD coaching service on the concept of commitments and uses them as the guides by which readers can move from a reactive to an intentional life.

Dr. Tracy Thomas holds a Ph.D. in psychology and a master’s in organizational development. She has channeled her expertise in emotional sensitivity and intentionality into her years of work as a private coach and an array of bestselling books.

A spokesperson for the doctor said, “ADHD is just beginning to be recognized as more than just a childhood issue that needs medication. It’s really emotional sensitivity that isn’t understood or harnessed correctly. Dr. Tracy’s methods have helped countless people with ADHD take control of their lives.”
