Morra Designs Fall Give Back to Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region

NEW YORK – October 6, 2020 – (Newswire.com)

New York based  Morra Designs Jewelry company is teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region (RMHC-CR), with a Fall Give Back Offer. To help sustain their mission in the face of COVID-19, 50% of all profits from jewelry sales on the Morra Designs website will be donated to RMHC-CR. The offer is open to the public until the end of December.

2020 has been an unprecedented year for everyone, including the many children and families who rely on RMHC-CR. Since mid-March, RMCH-CR has supported more than 140 families with children needing critical medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic. When RMHC-CR was forced to close in order to prevent the spread of infection, they provided more than 1,400 overnight hotel stays – along with meals, comfort items and emotional support – to help families in their time of need. “The House That Love Built” has since resumed operations and continues to offer all their services, completely free of charge.

“Feeling safe and loved is paramount for a child. Childhood should be a carefree, curious, happy time,” said Heather Morra. “RMHC-CR works to give these gifts to every child and every family in need. Morra Designs is inspired by all the love that RMHC-CR gives to the communities especially to children.”

“At RMHC-CR, we draw on the compassion of our community to support the health and well-being of hundreds of children and families each year,” said Sue Nigra, Director of Development for RMHC-CR. “Thanks to the tremendous compassion of Morra Designs, people now have a unique opportunity to help us when they purchase beautiful jewelry for themselves and their loved ones. As we continue to serve families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the holidays we are especially grateful for this partnership.”
