New Mexico Author R. Douglas Clark Releases New Book: Dangerous Crossing

Pulp fiction with a conscience!

Santa Fe, NM, USA – August 28, 2020 – Join SpeakingVolumes Publishing and PenPower Book Marketing Services in congratulating author R. Douglas Clark on the release of his third book, Dangerous Crossing, a story of secrets, greed, lies and deceit.

It looked like a simple case of blackmail for sexual misconduct. But when Eddie Maez, a retired prize-winning journalist, is asked to investigate, he finds himself dragged into a thicket of drug smuggling, human trafficking and illegal sports betting in the treacherous borderland of south Texas.

Caught in a web of criminal activity, Eddie must find a way out. But in this underworld where human life has so little value, who can he trust?

R. Douglas Clark was born in Vermont, grew up in Colorado, attended college in Chicago, and received a Master’s degree in music from Brown University. He and his wife, Shelley, fell in love with northern New Mexico while vacationing here and subsequently moved to the area. After four years of running a Boys and Girls Club in Chimayó and Abiquiú, Doug retired to write fiction full-time. Doug is also the author of Welcome to Maravilla and American Odyssey.
