Career-defining moments

Montañez on Kevin Bacon and his new series ‘The Bondsman’

Most recently, Montañez was at the New York premiere of the new Amazon Prime Video series “The Bondsman” starring Kevin Bacon.

“Kevin Bacon is a renowned actor, and one I have been watching since my childhood,” Montañez said.

“His detached nihilistic approach into this role works best in the preview we saw, especially since it lays a good foundation for the development that the character will need to have once those sins that got him in hell in the first place start coming out,” he elaborated.

The digital age

On being a part of the digital age, he said, “It feels weird. I love history and technology has always had a parallel role to the development of humans but at some point that stopped being true like 80 years ago.”

“Social media needs to be turned off, and I love making money from it,” he added.

Advice for young and aspiring models and content creators

For young and emerging models and content creators, he said, ‘Social media matters, pay your taxes, if you do it in one take, its 51 percent likely it will go viral.”

“The only way you will succeed in this is by becoming the best version of yourself, and you should think about what that means to you… and then start running jn that direction,” he added.
