Straight A+s for Juno for Performance

Juno Online Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: JWEB) recently announced that it
received five perfect A+ ratings in the latest Visual Internet
Benchmark(TM) report. This report published Visual Networks'(R)
(NASDAQ: VNKW) Internet industry performance results. For the month of
March 2000, Juno received the highest possible grade in five critical
performance-related categories.

Based on its total of 9.4 million registered subscriber accounts, Juno
is the world’s largest provider of free dial-up Internet services, as
well as the second largest provider (after AOL) of dial-up Internet
services
overall. The company had more than 3.0 million active subscribers during
the month of March, including more than 2.3 million active Web-enabled
subscribers and approximately 0.7 million using Juno’s original
e-mail-only service.

The five categories in which Juno earned an A+ were average download
time, average Web throughput, average total Web time-outs, business-hour
call failure rate, and 24-hour call failure rate. Juno performed
especially well in the last two categories, with less than half the rate
of call failures as compared to the industry average.

“This Visual Networks report confirms what our millions of subscribers
already know: that Juno provides an exceptionally fast, reliable,
top-quality service,” said Wendy Rosenberg, Juno’s Senior Vice President
responsible for telecommunications. “We’ve worked very hard to make sure
that our subscribers have a satisfying experience whether they’re using
Juno to access the Web, instant messaging, online games, e-mail, chat,
or any other feature of the Internet. We are proud to have accomplished
this for our users and grateful to have our accomplishment recognized by
the industry’s leading performance assessment organization.”
