On July 14, this journalist was afforded the privileged opportunity to dine at The Ivy Kitchen & Bar, situated in Huntington on Long Island.
It opened in November of 2021, and it is family-operated by four brothers.

One’s culinary journey starts with appetizers, and their “Table Bread” (accompanied with honey whipped Ricotta spread) and “Meatballs” should not be missed. Their meatballs (polpettes) consist of veal blend, house sauce, as well as Parmesan cheese, and herbs.

Seafood lovers ought to try their Atlantic Salmon, which comes with zucchini, lemon, greens, and Remoulade. Their salmon was grilled to perfection, and the Remoulade was a savory sauce to help season it.

The highlight meal of the day was the “Barrotta Rigatoni,” which is comprised of Burrata, Crispy Pancetta, and Basil. This alone, was worth the visit to The Ivy.

They offer a wide selection of sides, which include Italian Potatoes, Creamed Corn, Burnt Broccolini, Crispy Brussels, Fries, as well as Mac & Cheese. A kids’ menu is also available, as well as gluten-free and vegan dining options.
Pizza fans are in for a treat. They have “Margherita” with fresh basil and mozzarella, as well as Caesar Pizzette (with crisp Romaine, Green Goddess Dressing, and Bread Crumbs), and “Meatball Pizzette” with Mozzarella and Romano.
Compliments to executive chef Jack Grace for his vision, leadership, and eclectic meals, which are artistic and creative.
