On Monday, June 23rd, this journalist had the chance to dine at Planet Hollywood in New York City’s Time Square for dinner.
This restaurant re-opened on February 3rd 2025.

Hors d’oeuvres
As an appetizer, one ought to try their “Walk of Fame High Roller,” which is comprised of their chicken crunch (featuring a Corn Flakes flavor), blackened shrimp, prime rib sliders, guacamole, and Buffalo wings.
Speaking of the blackened shrimp, they were quite juicy!

Pasta
A true standout is their “L.A. Lasagna,” which is a refreshing take on lasagna… one with ricotta-filled with pasta tubes and Bolognese meat sauce, crispy fried, and it is served with roasted garlic cream and tomato basil sauce.
This item is available under the “1991 Icons” section of the menu, and rightfully so.

Entrées
A healthy entrée is their “Sesame Ginger Salmon,” which is recommended for pescatarian, or seafood, lovers. Their grilled salmon filet with a soy-ginger sesame glaze, cilantro rice and Broccolini.

Their “Ultimate Prime Rib” was tender, slow-roasted, and succulent. It featured prime rib with mashed potatoes (infused in garlic) and served with horseradish cream and gravy.

Desserts
At Planet Hollywood, patrons ought to leave some extra room for dessert. Their “Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding” is scrumptious and topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.

Also, a fun sweet delight to share with a friend is “The Candy Bar Sundae,” which consists of scoops of rich chocolate and vanilla ice cream piled high with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, maraschino cherries, assorted chocolates and candy bars, which include Kit Kat bar slices and M&Ms.
