Author Gina Tramontozzi released her debut children’s book “Oliver & Ava’s Dream Adventures: The Secret of the Enchanted Door.”

It was illustrated by Artmixia, and it was inspired by true events and real travels.

The synopsis is: When Oliver and Ava drift off to sleep one night, their dreams carry them far beyond their hotel balcony — straight into the heart of old Sevilla Spain.

Guided by the scent of orange blossoms and the echo of flamenco guitars, they discover a mysterious door carved with swirling patterns of light. What happens when they open it?

The illustrations by Artmixia are whimsical and visually striking. They help elevate the book to a higher level, and they teleport young readers and their families in a fantasy world that is both educational, informative, enjoyable, and fun.

The Verdict

Overall, “Oliver & Ava’s Dream Adventures: The Secret of the Enchanted Door” by Gina Tramontozzi is a compelling new children’s book.

The book’s subject matter is warm and relatable. It is filled with magic, music, and mystery as it transports the reading audience to a clandestine world.

It stands out from an artistic and creative standpoint, and Tramontozzi’s writing is engaging and somewhat poetic (and that ought to be taken as a compliment)

It underscores the power of dreaming and believer, as well as the strength of pure imagination. It also highlights such values as growth, courage, exploration (of different cultures), and adventures.

This is the quintessential children’s book that parents and families can read their kids right before bed, but at the same time, it is food for thought for the adults as well.

Hopefully, this is a harbinger that there will be more to this children’s book series to come.

“Oliver & Ava’s Dream Adventures: The Secret of the Enchanted Door” is raw and honest and it garners two giant thumbs up.
