Review: Frankie’s East Side Gourmet Pizza is an amazing New York pizzeria (Includes first-hand account)

It is one of the finest pizzerias that Long Island has to offer. They use high quality ingredients in all of their foods, namely grande mozzarella, and they are open all days of the week. It is home of the delicious Mick Foley pie, which is named after the acclaimed wrestler, and they deliver.

Most impressive is their specialty pizzas which are named after some noteworthy individuals, such as “N” Friggin “T” (Nick Tangorra pie), the “Fire N’ Ice,” Drunken Grandma, Will Ah Pizza, Rafe “T” First Pizza, as well as 3 Cheeses Of Foley Pizza and the “Bea Blue,” in honor of Beatrice Miller.

Their pizza toppings include sausage, pepperoni, meatball, onion, peppers, garlic, anchovies, mushroom, black olives and hot peppers, and they even offer gluten free pizza.

Their selection of wraps is quite lengthy and impressive, as well as their Italian Specialty dinners.

Aside from main meals, they also offer savory desserts which include zeppoles, cannolis (which are stuffed with fresh cream and chocolate chips), as well as chocolate cake, truffles, deep fried Twinkies and flan. What’s not to like. Patrons could also discuss items that are not listed on their menu, and they will do their best to fulfill to their wishes.

The Verdict

Overall, Frankie’s East Side Gourmet Pizza in Farmingdale is an exceptional restaurant. Above all, the owner and his staff’s friendliness and professionalism makes one feel at their own home. Their food is fresh and distinct. It is Italian, American and Spanish cuisine at its finest. It garners an A rating.

Frankie’s East Side Gourmet Pizza is located on 313 Main Street in Farmingdale on Long Island, and all major credit cards are accepted.
