The Long Island Hospitality Ball will host its 10th anniversary event, in an effort to fight breast cancer.

For the sixth year, it will be benefitting the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. It will take place at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Long Island, New York, on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

In the spirit of generosity, three industry peers will be honored in 2022 for their achievements: Greg Clement, the vice President of Commercial Operations New York State, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, as well as Keith Hart, the President of Hart Agency and Chairman of the Long Island Hospitality Ball; moreover, Carol Silva, Emmy-winning broadcast journalist of News 12, will receive the “Ed Lowe Media Award.”

This year the goal is to raise $500,000 for their recipient and partner in fighting cancer, the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

The Long Island Hospitality Ball (LIHB) shows off its hospitality talents by showcasing offerings from the region’s top restaurants, wine and spirit brands, nightclubs, and entertainers as well as hotels and catering halls.

The LIHB was founded in 2011 by Keith Hart and the LIHB Board of Directors. Mr. Hart is a hospitality industry guru and cancer survivor. His personal battle with cancer is now in remission and has inspired him to rally the industry to join the fight against cancer.

Long Island’s top cover bands and entertainers, including Michael DelGuidice of Big Shot on the main stage with a little help from his friends and on the inside stage “DJ Theo,” “That 70’s Band” and some of your favorite throwback recording artists along with other performers throughout the property and throughout the evening that will be named later.

Many celebrities and sports stars are expected to attend. This event is an indoor and outdoor event, rain or shine.

Philanthropist Carol M. Baldwin was not only the founder; she was a breast cancer survivor. The Baldwin family firmly believes that the key to finding a cure for breast cancer is by providing the funding necessary to allow researchers to learn more about this disease.

There have been many significant advances in the methods of detection and treatments for breast cancer, yet many people continue to lose their battle every year as they succumb to the devastating effects of this disease. Their mission is to find a cure – nothing less.

The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund has awarded close to 100 research grants totaling in excess of $5 million to medical research. For more information, check out its official website.
