Hotel gives advice on what to do if their guests are kidnapped

The fan, who only went by the name Matt, was one of the hundreds of fans who traveled to Russia to watch Manchester United’s soccer match against FC Rostov. Matt Tweeted out a photo of the words. He mentioned how his hotel in Rostov provided him with advice that he had never received at any other hotel in the world.

In the guidance, guests are warned they should not resist if they find themselves being kidnapped. Guests are also told to comply with any of the kidnappers’ demands and to remember appearances. The advice includes trying to recall sights and sounds if the kidnappers move them (guests) around.

The advice warns that terrorists can be people who are not mentally healthy and their behavior can be unpredictable. A number is included on the sign, and it’s the number to the Federal Security Service of Russia.

Among the other pieces of advice is that guests should ask the kidnappers if they could call a doctor. It goes onto say that guests should pay attention to how the kidnappers talk and who they speak to.

Matt was quizzed about the place he was staying at. He said the place was run down, but the people were pleasant. He added there were a few bars around and he didn’t see any trouble.
