Author Gladies Romanello chatted about her two new “Gladi” children’s books.
Inspiration to write these books
On her inspiration to write these children’s books, she said, “I was inspired to write ‘Gladi and Her Giant Tomato Tree’ (a fruit of life) from writing my first book ‘Glad And Her Enchanted Camping Adventure’.”
“I received a lot of positive feedback since the book was published and it made me very happy to know that others really enjoyed the reading. I write about true events I have experienced. The first book is about a little girl that gets lost in the forest,” she said.
“The new children’s book “Gladi and Her Enchanted Tomato Tree (a fruit of life) was created in my kitchen,” she said. “I had cut into a tomato and saw that the tomato had sprouted a seed. I was faced with the decision about this phenomenon.”
“I felt my experience would make a great story and teach children about science, life and the fruits life gives us by caring and giving back,” she acknowledged.
