Catching up with Dr. Justin Piasecki (Includes interview)

Piasecki graduated with honors from Stanford University, and he finished a five-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin. He holds a Mohs Surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia. In addition, he is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In March of 2013, Piasecki was honored on The Doctors TV show and he was featured as “Mr. March” on their “Most Beautiful Doctors in America” calendar.

Regarding his skincare line, Piasecki said, “It is doing great. We really could not have been happier. We are almost trying to keep up, which is great. There has been a tremendous amount of interest. There are two dozen charities that are being supported by this, and we are getting a number of orders from overseas such as Australia, New Zealand, China and even the Middle East. It is pretty neat and it is great for charitable giving, especially since we are helping schools. It is a win-win situation, since it helps arts programs and little league teams. We try hard to put our message out there and organize a fundraiser within the school community. It is great to see how much you can accomplish, when you don’t care who gets the credit. We are accomplishing that and we are really excited.”

On his plans for the future with his Piasecki M.D. skincare line, he said, “To continue to grow, and to perhaps add a few more products to the line down the road. I am pleasantly surprised that is has been doing as well as it has. As long as we continue to benefit charities, we are going to be doing that.”

Piasecki concluded, “In medicine, I can help thousands of people, which is fantastic, and that is certainly a privilege that I don’t want to give up. With the charitable programs, I can help them prevent cancer, look better in the process, and help millions of people through charitable giving. It is almost a reward in itself.”
