Daria Shevchenko chatted about being a fashion model and content creator in the digital age. She is the founder of Attach, and her mission is to empower confidence every day.

Maya Angelou once said: “You are the sum total of everything you’ve ever seen, heard, eaten, smelled, been told, forgot – it’s all there. Everything influences each of us, and because of that I try to make sure that my experiences are positive.” This quote applies to Daria Shevchenko.

She discussed being a part of the 2025 “Dressed to Kilt” fashion show, which is the most famous Scottish fashion show in the world. It was co-founded in 2003 by Sir Sean Connery and Dr. Geoffrey Scott Carroll. This year’s event took place at The Church of the Heavenly Rest in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

What inspires you each day as a model and content creator?

People. Their stories. The moments when someone speaks with spark in their eyes — full of hope, passion, and belief in their vision — that’s what moves me. I find inspiration in authenticity and vulnerability.

Watching others be courageous enough to be real empowers me to stay true to myself, stay grounded, and pour that energy into everything I create.

What do your plans for the future include?

I believe God always has bigger plans for me than I could ever imagine. But my intention is simple: to keep growing, to become a better version of myself, and to collaborate with brands that add real value to the world.

I want to continue being that bridge — the creative link between brands and people — using my platform with purpose.

Can you tell us about your ‘Attach’ project… How did that come about?

The idea came during my travels. I realized the phone is the most personal object we carry — we never leave it behind. I thought, “Why shouldn’t it carry more than just digital essentials?”

ATTACH is a luxurious phone case handcrafted in Italy, with a built-in mirror and a refillable beauty palette. Think lip balm, blush, solid perfume — right there in your phone. It’s not just a case; it’s an essential reimagined.

It’s compatible with most refillable beauty products and designed for modern life — beautiful, smart, and intentional.

Were there any moments in your career that have helped define you?

Definitely. But one that stands out is attending acting school in New York. It helped me fully embrace who I am — my voice, my presence, and the depth I bring to every project.

That journey gave me clarity and the power to act from authenticity. And once you reach that point, it changes everything. You stop trying to fit in — and start creating from your truth.

How did it feel to be a part of the 2025 “Dressed to Kilt” event in New York City?

Honestly, it was a blast. Such a creative, kind, and open-hearted crowd. I remember promising to model at Geoffrey’s Christmas party, not thinking much of it — and then it actually happened.

I’m glad the team followed through. The energy was amazing, and I met people I truly connected with. I know that something big is going to grow out of this.

What is your advice for young and aspiring models and content creators?

Be you. You’re already enough. We live in a time where leading with your uniqueness is powerful.

And social media — when used with joy — becomes a magnet. I remember filming short acting videos for fun. I laughed at my own jokes, had the best time… and later found out they were inspiring people I didn’t even know.

A doctor started his YouTube channel, a young woman signed up for a dance class, someone else finally enrolled in acting school.

All from something I did for my own joy. That’s the power of authenticity.

What does the word success mean to you? (My favorite question)

Success is balance. It’s peace inside, despite the noise outside. It’s waking up excited for the day ahead, knowing there’s something meaningful waiting — whether that’s connection, purpose, or joy.

When you’re so full that sharing becomes instinct — not obligation — that’s success.

What would you like to say to your fans, followers, and supporters (that have been with you on your journey)

I’m just like you. I go through the same doubts, struggles, and breakthroughs. Thank you for being here — truly.

We’re here to inspire and lift each other, and I hope my work has done that for you.
