The 2025 ACE Awards were presented in nine categories to designers, brands, retailers, and pioneers who have helped to enhance growth and awareness of the accessories industry.
The GALA recognized and celebrated global brands, designers, and trailblazers at the forefront of the fashion industry.
“I am so exited to be here; this is my first time at the ACE Awards, and I am so excited to celebrate the legacy of Rebecca Minkoff today,” she said.
The digital age
On being a model in the digital age, she said, “I love it. I think being a model in the digital age is amazing. It’s a great way to connect with people without meeting them in person; I love it.”
Career-defining moments
When asked if there were any moments in her career that have helped define her, she responded, “Definitely. Honestly, being in the digital age and social media has allowed me to get thicker skin.”
“The journey of self-love is a long one, and you need to continue to stay true to you, and don’t compare yourself to anybody else,” she added.
Advice for young and aspiring models and actors
For young and emerging actors and models, she said, “Stay true to who you are because you are unique and powerful in your own way.”
Stage of her life
On the title of the current chapter of her life, Kostek said with a sweet laugh, “I am in my own era.”
Success
Regarding her definition of the word success, Kostek revealed, “Success, to me, means happiness and being in the moment. Being in the here and now is something I am trying to practice more of.”
