The digital age

On being a fitness influencer in the digital age, Teagarden said, “The digital age is definitely the way to go.”

“I’ve talked to a lot of people in-person but with online and digital, you can reach more people worldwide, and give them more tips. So, the digital age is awesome,” he elaborated.

Proudest professional moments

As an online fitness coach, Teagarden’s proudest accomplishments is when his clients see results such as weight loss, building muscle and being inspired to work out every day. “Being able to inspire people is a proud result,” he said.

“So, when I am able to help people and get paid doing something that I love is one of the best things ever,” he added.

Significance of mental health

“Mental health is definitely huge,” he admitted. “So many things we see on social media can harm our mental health. If you are waking up every single day and pushing yourself to be the best, and you are consistently seeing results, then you should be happy with where you are at.”

Walking as a form of exercise

Teagarden noted that he considers walking as a form of exercise. “Just getting up and walking every single day is the best thing you can do, especially to keep your body going, staying in shape and staying healthy so I love walking,” he said.

Teagarden shares his fitness and nutrition tips

“First and foremost, make sure you are getting enough protein in,” he said. “Protein makes you feel full and it helps you pack on muscle if you are working out. Overall, protein intake is very beneficial for you.”

“When you are eating, make sure you are eating your protein and a well-balanced diet,” he underscored.

“If you are short on time due to a busy schedule, do your home workouts but also walk. Getting up and moving helps me stay in shape each day, and it helps me feel good with my mental health,” he added.

AI on the future of the industry

Teagarden opened up about artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the future of the fitness industry.

“AI is certainly interesting and we utilize it as a tool for good,” he said. “It can give you some helpful feedback, but ultimately, it comes down to knowing what is true and what is right.”

“You need to actually test it for yourself and your body, but AI can give you a lot of useful information, especially for some tips and tricks,” he added.

Superpower of choice

On his superpower of choice, he said with a sweet laugh, “To have superhuman strength.”

“That is why I love doing handstands, pushups and cool things like that with your body weight,” he said.

Best advice he has ever been given

On the best advice that he has ever been given, he shared, “Being a Christian, putting God first. If we are focusing on Him and His word, we can’t be depressed or going wrong.”

“It’s all about getting out of your comfort zone and pushing yourself… That helps you become better in the gym, in business, in your faith, and in life. It helps you become a better person,” he explained.

Success
