The data takes the form of the “Life’s Simple 7,” an online checklist and advice (in the form of top tips.) Much of the advice has been published before e.g. stop smoking, exercise regularly, maintain healthy diet, and so on. In relation to this, Riska Platt, RD, a nutrition consultant and volunteer for the American Heart Association, notes “They say `You are what you eat’ and the research is showing that to be true. More and more diseases, and the medications that follow, are tied to foods that we eat.”
What is more interesting is a portal called “My Life Check,” here users can input facts and can given various health scenarios. Information is provided in English and Spanish.
The scenarios cover seven areas:

Stop Smoking.
The AHA states the most important thing with the information is that it allows any person to make the necessary lifestyle changes to protect their heart.
