One fan said that the guy who tried to attack Ambrose was holding a knife. As of now, it hasn’t been confirmed if the fan was holding a weapon.
The incident occurred during last Tuesday’s taping of WWE Smackdown, after Ambrose won his match. After winning the match, he started to head back towards the locker room. Ambrose stopped on his way to the back, and he was greeting a few fans lining up at ringside.
From out of nowhere, a fan jumped the barricade and made his way towards Ambrose, who had his back turned to the fan. However, the fan wasn’t able to do anything to Ambrose, thanks to the actions of a security guard who took him down to the ground.
Ambrose wasn’t harmed and he’s doing just fine. As for the fan who leaped over the barricade, there are no reports on what happened to him.
In the video, Ambrose doesn’t look overly concerned. When security took the fan to the ground, Ambrose continued on with the show, but he did acknowledge the fan by pointing at him.
