Warner Bros. unveiled its highly-anticipated trailer of the 2009 film The Watchmen in theatres, as well as at the Comic-Con this week. Also, the studio releases photos of the ground-breaking film, which is based on one of the most popular graphic novels.
Digital Journal — It won’t be out until March 2009, but Warner Bros’ Watchmen is already enjoying some 2008 hype. Its trailer has been enjoying impressive buzz for those who saw The Dark Knight this past week. Also, the comic-book convention Comic-Con will showcase the trailer this week in San Diego.
The salivating geeks at Comic-Con are excited to see the film adaptation of Watchmen, a graphic novel written by Alan Moore, of V for Vendetta fame. It’s been lauded as Hollywood’s most anticipated new release.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder (300) and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian, Billy Crudup as the paranormal Dr. Manhattan and Jackie Earl Haley as Rorschach. It was filmed entirely in British Columbia.
