Shouji Sato’s manga series Triage X, a battle action story that features guns galore, will receive an anime adaptation scheduled to air in Japan on April 8th. It is unknown if Triage X will stream internationally let alone in North America, but it might stream on Crunchyroll and/or FUNimation depending on whom acquires the regional distribution license.
If FUNimation acquires the license, then it will likely stream on Hulu and FUNimation.
If another company acquires the license, then it will likely stream on Hulu and Crunchyroll.
The anime will broadcast on April 8th in Japan on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu.
You can catch the anime on April 9th through TV Saitama, Chiba TV, TVK, Gifu Broadcasting, and Mie TV.
Kadokawa Anime, the studio behind the adaptation, streamed the first promotional trailer for Triage X that introduces the main cast of characters. The setting centers on Mochizuki General Hospital, a well-respected and highly reputable medical center, serving as a front for an organization of assassins.
Select staff and local teenagers work as “avengers” by secretly killing the wicked before they spread their “cancer” to other people. This is a dark and twisted, but action-packed, way of administering “preventive medicine.”
They are respected medical workers by day and deadly assassins by night.
You have to laugh at the sheer irony as the Hippocratic Oath, what medical professionals have to take, as they are doing harm to prevent further harm from hurting innocent people. This is not your typical hospital story and it would be unwise to mess with anybody working at Mochizuki General Hospital.
The upcoming 12th volume of Triage X will come with a Blu-Ray disc that contains an un-aired episode of the anime.
Triage X is a story about people taking “preventive medicine” one step further.
