Actor Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”) chatted about starring in the new action film “Queen of the Ring,” which was written and directed by Ash Avildsen.

The synopsis is: In a time when professional wrestling for women was illegal all over the country, a small town single mother named Mildred Burke (played by Emily Bett Rickards) embraces the danger to change culture as she dominates America’s most masculine sport to become the first million dollar female athlete in history.

Tyler Posey plays the role of G. Bill Wolfe in this new wrestling film. The character is the son of promoter extraordinaire Billy Wolfe (Josh Lucas), and he was an unsung hero of the Golden Age of women’s wrestling.

He is a complicated character who is caught between his father, the business, his extended family, and the female wrestlers.

Posey went on to praise Emily Bett Rickards and everyone in the cast and crew for being “so great.”

New York premiere of the film

Most recently, on March 4th, Posey was a part of the New York premiere of “Queen of the Ring.”

“It’s amazing to be here,” Posey exclaimed. “I love being able to promote the projects that I am in, and to be here with such an adoring group of people.”

“They are such talented artists, and it means the world to me to be able to showcase this to the world. I am very happy to be here,” he elaborated.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Posey revealed, “I’m Stopping at Nothing to Go for it.”
