According an article on Broadway World’s official website, the ensemble production grossed $2,397,106, at the Palace Theatre in New York City, for the week ending January 1, 2017, thus setting a new record. This marks the best sales week ever for the ensemble production in its three seasons on Broadway, and it was achieved with “Turn of the Century.”
The all-star cast of magicians performed a limited engagement from November 25 until January 1. These magicians included The Clairvoyants, who were the runner-up winners of the NBC reality competition, America’s Got Talent that were best known for their mentalism abilities, as well as Dana Daniels (“The Charlatan”), Mark Kalin (“The Showman,” escapologist Jonathan Goodwin (“The Daredevil”) and Jinger Leigh, who is affectionately dubbed as “The Conjuress.” This iconic venue has a history behind it, especially since it housed the world’s most famous magicians in the beginning of the twentieth century, which included Harry Houdini himself.
