“Playing at The Cutting Room feels like a fresh, new beginning not only for us, but for the fans,” Garofalo said. “It is a beautiful place, good food, and definite vintage music vibe emanating from every corner of the club. It is our starting gig there, so depending on the fans and their reactions, we will see what is to come continuing to play there. It seems like everybody wants us now in their room to perform, but we are extremely selective in what is right for the Beatles fans attending.”
Garofalo noted that their last show at B.B. King Blues Club was “absolutely packed at the seams.” “It was bittersweet, but after doing this Beatle thing for over 30 years, I am never surprised at just how popular we actually are, and I knew that after B.B King Blues Club closed, something would start cultivating for us very quickly and it did.”
The forthcoming Strawberry Field show at The Cutting Room on June 10 will continue their legendary show in a new club with some new twists and new songs. “This show in particular will feature Abbey Road studio’s original assistant recording engineer Richard Langham, who worked second in command with Sir George Martin on the first three Beatles albums,” he said.
Langham will host the show along with Q104.3 NYC Radio’s Maria Milito. “This will bring the day’s festivities to an all time high,” Garofalo said. “So sit back, close your eyes and you won’t believe your ears. The Broadway Beatles are back and coming to a town near you this summer,” he concluded.
