Tim Charron talks ‘White Sand Christmas’ and Miranda Lambert (Includes interview)

Most recently, on December 2, Charron hosted a concert with Hunter Hayes, Kellie Pickler and Lauren Alaina in Florida. “That was cool, and the radio station hired me to emcee and introduce the acts,” he said.

He is a big proponent of anti-bulling, and he does a solo, acoustic version of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” in his live shows. With his full band shows, he covers Jason Aldean’s “Hicktown” with a medley of “Uptown Funk.”

Charron defines his musical style as “country rock with a twist o lime,” and he is signed to his independent record label, Gypsy Life Records. He just released his holiday song “White Sand Christmas.”

Regarding his future plans, he said, “I’m working on a new album. I’m really excited. The last record I did is called Chasing the Sun, and I recorded it with the guys from Jason Aldean’s band, and we are going to do the next record with Jason Aldean’s guys again. I’m working on getting outside songs and I’m writing with some other songwriters such as Marty Dodson. I just wrote a new song for the record on Wednesday. Hopefully, there will be really great songs from the record.”

Charron listed country songstress Miranda Lambert as his dream female duet choice in the genre, and praised her style for being “badass.”

“White Sand Christmas” is available on iTunes.
