Heavy metal band Queensryche will serve as their special musical guests. They will make up their rescheduled tour dates in such cities as Phoenix, San Antonio, Dallas, Hollywood (Florida) and Tampa. In addition, they are adding two new shows in Irvine, California and in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Lead singer Klaus Meine expressed how happy he is that The Scorpions rescheduled all of their tour dates after they were forced to cancel due to his “severe laryngitis” last year. They were determined to get back to American to make these shows up for their loyal fan-base. “We look very much forward to seeing you out there and get ready to rock,” the iconic Scorpions front-man told his fans.
This past fall, The Scorpions released their ballad compilation, Born to Touch Your Feelings (Best of the Rock Ballads), on Sony Music. This collection includes two new tunes: “Always Be With You” and “Melrose Avenue.” It is available on iTunes and on Spotify.
Throughout their career in the music business, The Scorpions have sold over 100 million albums worldwide. In 2015, they celebrated their 50-year anniversary. They were ranked No. 46 on VH1’s Greatest Artists of Hard Rock list.
Their U.S. tour will kick off on August 31 at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and it will wrap up on September 14 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
