‘The Resort’ tops Horror movie chart on Apple TV

The new horror thriller, “The Resort,” was released on April 30 via Vertical Entertainment, and it fared well on the streaming platforms. Digital Journal has the scoop.

The new horror thriller, “The Resort,” was released on April 30 via Vertical Entertainment, and it fared well on the streaming platform charts. Digital Journal has the scoop.

The film was written and directed by Taylor Chien, and it reached No. 18 on the Top Movie Charts on Apple TV, and climbing; moreover, it peaked at the No. 1 spot in the Horror category of Apple TV.

In this thriller, Lex (Bianca Haase) is a writer that is obsessed with the paranormal and she travels to a Hawaiian island with her three friends Chris (Brock O’Hurn), Sam (Michael Vlamis), and Bree (Michelle Randolph) to investigate reports of a haunting at an abandoned resort by the notorious “Half-Faced Girl.”

“The Resort” earned a favorable review from Digital Journal, where it was hailed as “gripping” and “captivating.” Its trailer may be seen below.

The Resort” is available on Apple TV.
