Earlier in the year, in January of 2015, as Digital Journal reported, The Paramount finished in 12th place as the highest club venue in the world.
The Paramount has now moved up one spot to No. 11 with 96,236 tickets sold, proving that it has the ability to climb even higher. There are only two New York club venues higher on that list, and those include Terminal 5 at No. 4 with 162,590 tickets sold, and Webster Hall with 183,040 tickets sold, both of which are located in Manhattan. The top venue worldwide is the House of Blues in Boston with 214,936 tickets sold.
The artists that perform at the venue are booked by Live Nation with Ticketmaster ticketing, and it hosts approximately 200 events and shows per year. The Paramount is available for corporate rentals for such special occasions as weddings, Sweet 16 birthday celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, fundraisers, among other events. This past July, it opened a new radio station on its premises.
