Young plays businessman Rick Forrester on the Emmy-winning daytime drama series, The Bold and The Beautiful. In the soap opera, he is the son of patriarch Eric Forrester (portrayed by John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), both of which have been on the soap for 30 years.
Throughout his respected career entertainment industry, Young has garnered six Emmy nominations for his acting work on three different soaps: General Hospital, All My Children and The Bold and The Beautiful. From these six nominations, he took home the daytime Emmy award in 2002 for “Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series” for playing Lucky Spencer on General Hospital.
His other television credits include guest starring roles on Hope & Faith and One Life to Live. In 2006, Young played Lumière in a Broadway production of the Disney film Beauty and the Beast.
The actor is married to his wife, Christen, and they have three children: Luke, Molly, and Grace.
