On his new single “No Problem,” he said, “I was looking for songs, and I got a few songs sent to me. I really loved the song. I saw the title at first, and I was a bit skeptical about it, but when I heard the song, the lyrics and the hooks, I really liked it, so I decided to cut it and put it out. I am excited about it and I hope that everybody is loving it!”
Regarding his plans for the future, he said, “I just signed a record deal with Inter scope Records. I am working on a new EP. I am gathering the songs on it. I hope to have it out within the next couple of months. I am excited about it.”
He listed Nickelback and Drake as his biggest musical influences. “I was a huge fan of hip hop, so I liked seeing people do their own thing, and be different. I didn’t really get into country music until I was in seventh grade. I liked Brett Eldredge. He actually grew up 20 minutes from my hometown, so after I started listening to his music, I have been rolling with it ever since,” he said.
On the impact of technology on the country music business, Schneider said, “I think technology is cool. It gives opportunity for more songs to be recognized, and more freedom of musical taste. You don’t have to only listen to one song. You can listen to any songs you want at any given time. It is breaking down some barriers for music as well.”
Schneider listed Justin Bieber as his dream collaboration choice. “I have a lot of respect for him. He’s a great artist,” he said.
