Ted Nugent to bring ‘Sonic Baptizm 2016’ tour to The Paramount

Throughout his illustrious career in the music and entertainment scene, Nugent is known as the “Motor City Madman.” He has sold in excess of 40 million albums, thus performing over 6,500 high-energy live shows, and he continues to set attendance records at theaters worldwide.

Nugent has been honored as Detroit’s “Greatest Guitar Player of All Time” by readers of MLive. His extensive catalog of hits include “Stranglehold,” “Cat Scratch Fever,” “High Enough,” as well as the cult classic “Fred Bear,” which to this day, is still the most requested song for radio airplay in the states of Michigan and Wisconsin. He has been profiled in such media outlets as VH1’s “Behind the Music,” and A&E’s “Biography,” among others.
