This musical effort will include a selection of the most beloved collaborations in Sting’s respected music career, which consists of 17 Grammy Awards. The vinyl LP edition of Duets will also be available worldwide on December 18.
It will include “Desert Rose” with Cheb Mami, “44/876” with Shaggy, and “It’s Probably Me” with three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eric Clapton.
Other gifted special musical guests that are joining Sting include R&B songstress Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Annie Lennox, Charles Aznavour, Mylène Farmer, Melody Gardot, and Gashi, among others.
In addition, The Duets album will also feature a brand new song “September,” which has never been released before, where he collaborates with Italian icon Zucchero. It was produced by Sting and it was subsequently mixed by four-time Grammy winner Robert Orton.
Duets was executive produced by Guénaël “GG” Geay and Martin Kierszenbaum. All of its songs were mastered by Gene Grimaldi at Oasis Mastering in Los Angeles, California.
