Their concert will take place on October 8 in Wantagh, New York, in celebration of their 10-year anniversary. “We will be playing the album …And the Battle Begun front to back, and we will be coming with our horn section, and basically, trying to put on a high-energy show that we always do,” he said.
The past 10 years went by quite fast for the band. “For everybody, time flies as you get older, so it’s gong to be fun to play this record. We are going to be playing a lot of songs that we haven’t played for a long time,” Choi said.
Two days later, they will be playing Irving Plaza in New York City. “Irving Plaza is a really cool place to play. It has a great vibe and it is a nice, small setting,” he said. “It’s really cool.”
On this tour, Irish rock band And So I Watch You From Afar will be opening for RX Bandits. “They are a band that we really like, and they put on a great show,” he said.
He revealed that their band name, RX Bandits, came from high school. “It was a name that some of the guys thought up in high school, so it just stuck,” he said.
Aside from Choi, RX Bandits is comprised of Matthew Embree on vocals, guitar and keyboard, drummer Chris Tsagakis and bassist Joe Troy.
