Shotgun Wedding to play at The Paramount, to open for LeAnn Rimes

Shotgun Wedding features current members of Billy Joel’s band. They will be LeAnn Rimes’ special musical guests that will be opening her show at The Paramount.

In the past, Rimes has opened for Joel at M&T Stadium, which was home of the Baltimore Ravens. She also sang “Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)” at the Gershwin Awards, where she honored Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Billy
Joel.

Shotgun Wedding’s music contains elements of country, Americana, rock and roll and alternative country. The group consists of four esteemed songwriters and lead vocalists, and four-voice harmony parts, as well as drummer Chuck Burgi. Its founding member, Dennis DelGaudio, held guitar duties for the entire run of the Broadway smash hit “Movin’ Out.” In addition, DelGaudio was the musical director for the London production of “Movin’ Out.”

A quintet of musicians, Shotgun Wedding is made up of Dennis DelGaudio on guitar and vocals, Catherine Porter on vocals, Wade Preston on piano and vocals, Chuck Burgi on drums (who plays with both Billy Joel and the acclaimed cover band Big Shot), as well as Andy Cichon on bass and vocals.
