Shia LaBeouf arrested in Austin

Videos of the actor being arrested have surfaced on Twitter. LaBeouf was arrested where the Austin City Limits music festival is taking place.
Apparently, LaBeouf, 28, was outside of a bar on 6th street when he was arrested after police were called just before 8 p.m., and he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

One witness said they believe LaBeouf was very drunk or high on drugs when he decided to run down the street and jaywalk in front of cops. Officers warned LaBeouf not to do it, but he did anyways and that was when he was arrested.

An Austin police official did confirm that LaBeouf was arrested without force. However, the official said that LaBeouf was a little belligerent, as well as uncooperative.

This actually isn’t the first time Shia LaBeouf has found himself in cuffs and in back of a police car. Back in June, LaBeouf was arrested for acting disorderly at a Broadway show in New York. He was also accused of being verbally abusive.

After getting arrested, he went and received treatment for alcohol addiction. He appeared in court back in September and he pleaded guilty to the charges.
