On his partnership with Armada Music, Sanchez said, “I like the initiative Armada has shown in supporting house music and felt it would be great to work with them in continuing to develop my labels.”
Sanchez is back with his new track “Work 4 It.” “Cari Golden and I had been talking about collaborating for some time and I sent her the music to ‘Work 4 It’ and she came up with a killer song! I’m looking forward to doing more with her in the future,” he said.
Regarding his future plans, Sanchez said, “I’m working on a lot of new music and collaborations to release on UTR and Stealth as well as continuing to develop events around the label.”
He is drawn to electronic dance music due to the emotional connection it has with people. “I love the ability to connect to people’s emotions in a very primal way and inspire them to unite and dance. You can bring people together from all over the world on the dance-floor,” he explained. “I see the electronic scene developing more pockets of individual identity around the world as artists from different countries begin experimenting with their own take of the music. It’s exciting!”
Sanchez listed Bjork as his dream female collaboration choice. “I have always wanted to work with Bjork. Her voice is ethereal,” he said.
In 2013, he won a Grammy award for “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical” for his remix of No Doubt’s “Hella Good.” “Wow, that was some time ago. It was amazing to gain that recognition,” he said.
For his dedicated fans, Sanchez concluded, “I love you all and I’ll see you on the dance floor.”
