Review: Rocker invites mother on stage with him for ‘Zombie’ performance (Includes first-hand account)

Their show took place at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, while they were on one of the biggest rock tours of 2018.

Vext introduced talented instrumentalist Angel Vivaldi on lead guitar, and later on, his mother joined him on stage for a memorable rendition of “Zombie.” It was a fitting homage to the late Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries, who passed away on January 15, 2018, at the age of 46.

The rocker commented that this was one of his greatest moments on stage when his mother came out to sing “Zombie” with him in front of all of their fans, friends and family members in New Jersey. He shared that his mother was the lead singer in the church choir every Christmas, so he acknowledged that talent runs in his family.

Vext went on to express his love for his mother. “You are everything that is the best in me,” he said, graciously. “Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself,” he added.

Bad Wolves‘ latest radio single “Hear Me Now,” which features Diamante, is making its way to the Top 10 on the Active Rock radio charts.

“Hear Me Now” is available on iTunes.
