Rhonda Vincent crowned 2015 IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year

This marks her eighth career win in this category, for which she holds the most wins by a female artist.

A Missouri native, Vincent expressed her gratitude for this prestigious honor via a post on her official Facebook page. She noted that it was an “incredible evening” and shared her appreciation for everybody who shared their vote, as well as for their continuous love of her music.

In 2001, she also was named “Entertainer of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association, and she has been hailed as the “The New Queen of Bluegrass” by The Wall Street Journal.

She is gearing up for her brand new holiday album entitled Christmas Time, which is set for release on October 30. Her new Christmas project includes a combination of holiday favorites, along with new tracks written by Vincent herself, with a noteworthy version of “Twelve Days of Christmas.” It features special collaborations from country queen Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Grammy winner Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys, among others.

Vincent is a true road warrior who plays countless tour dates per year. For more information on Rhonda Vincent and her tour schedule, check out her official website.
