Review: Zac Brown Band tops country charts with ‘Homegrown’ (Includes first-hand account)

“Homegrown” is a track from their forthcoming fourth studio album, Jekyll + Hyde, which will be out on April 28. Within 11 weeks, the song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, becoming one of their fastest-rising singles to date. It was co-written by lead singer Zac Brown, as well as Wyatt Durrette and Niko Moon. It has a nostalgic vibe to it that will resonate well with fans and music critics.

“Here in a small town where it feels like home, I got everything I need and nothing that I don’t, Homegrown, Homegrown,” they sing.

As Digital Journal previously reported, Zac Brown Band will be performing on August 21 at Citi Field in New York.
