“Your Cheatin’ Heart” is a stimulating new episode in the “Ride” western series on Hallmark. This original episode premiered on Sunday, April 30th.

Paolo Barzman directed from a script by Alejandro Alcoba. The cast includes Nancy Travis, Tiera Skovbye, Beau Mirchoff, Sara Garcia, Jake Foy, and Tyler Jacob Moore.

The synopsis is: Isabel (Nancy Travis) and Hank (Greg Lawson) decide to woo Gus’s dad, Daniel Booker, to invest in their new business venture. Missy (Tiera Skovbye) tries to meet with the strange woman from the Frontier BBQ.

Shaken by a strange encounter at the Frontier BBQ, Missy wonders if she ever really knew her Austin, her late husband (played by Marcus Rosner).

Isabel and Hank are ready to secure funding for their new business venture. They turn to Gus (Tyler Jacob Moore) for help and get a glimpse of the wealthy family he is trying to distance himself from.

As Tuff (Jake Foy) contemplates his evolving relationship with Julian ( played Vasilios Filippakis), he asks for advice from Valeria (Sara Garcia), who is dealing with a romantic quandary of her own.

It is neat to watch Tuff and Julian’s relationship blossom and thrive over the course of the season despite any obstacles that present themselves or come their way. Foy and Filippakis have solid chemistry together, and their rapport allows for more resonance.

Missy’s encounter with a strangely familiar woman (Holly Deveaux) at the Frontier BBQ has left her with doubts about how well she knew her late husband. She tries to arrange a meeting in hopes of getting to the truth, but things do not go quite as planned. Without giving too much away, it is evident that Holly Deveaux will be a revelation in this episode (and certainly the next one that follows).

When Gus apologizes to Missy for coming to blows with Cash (Beau Mirchoff), she realizes that Cash kept the fight he had with Gus from her.

To get her mind off the McMurray men and their secrets, she approaches Valeria with an idea that could make life on the ranch better for both of them.

Missy’s happiness could be short-lived when she learns some distressing news that could change everything for the McMurrays.

Each episode of “Ride” gets more intriguing and engaging as the season progresses, and it makes viewers anxiously await for episodes that follows to watch how they will unfold. A must-watch for any fans of westerns.
