Pop artist Willa Ford is back in the music industry with her new bold pop single “Burn Burn.”

This marks her first new music in over two decades. To celebrate, she performed a one-night only event in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, at The Abbey on Friday, October 17th.

The song was co-penned by Willa Ford, Martin Eriksson Sandmark and Jonathan Bluth, and it was produced by Eriksson Sandmark; moreover, it is an anthem of self-salvation.

Ford allows her crisp, breathy vocals to shine on this tune “Burn Burn,” which is quite refreshing.

The song’s music video was directed by Scott King, and it may be seen below.

On her new single, Ford remarked, “When we started on ‘Burn Burn’ I just wanted to write a fun pop song, but over time the lyrics kept evolving.”

“Eventually, it became a song about burning all the false stories we tell ourselves and the beliefs that don’t serve us anymore,” she noted.

“This is for every gay person who has been told to be ashamed for loving who they love, or any woman who has been shamed for being a working mom—as a society, there are so many lies that we need to burn down,” she explained.

Willa Ford first burst into the pop music scene in the early 2000’s with her breakthrough studio album “Willa Was Here,” which featured her signature song and viral pop hit “I Wanna Be Bad.”

A classically trained opera singer, Ford has had an impressive career across multiple disciplines including music, dance, acting, producing and television. Ford subsequently founded her own successful interior decorating business, which was fueled by her passion for style, creativity, and design.

“Burn Burn” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It garners two giant thumbs up.

Thus far, with “Burn Burn,” it has been a pleasant comeback from Willa Ford. Hopefully, it is a harbinger of more quality pop music to come from Willa Ford in the future.
