Platinum-certified singer-songwriter Valerie Broussard released her stunning new single “Drive.” Digital Journal has the scoop.
She allows her crisp, pristine voice to shine on this song. “Drive” is the lead single from her upcoming breakthrough EP “Voyager,” which will be released in the fall. The music and the lyrics were penned by Broussard and Lena Leon, and it was produced by Josh Murty.
The listener can recall such vocalists as Sarah McLachlan meets Tristan Prettyman, and that is meant as a major compliment.
Broussard proves that she is one of the most gifted and underrated female recording artists in the contemporary musical landscape. She maintains great control over her honey-rich vocals and she is able to evoke raw emotions through her expressive delivery in “Drive.”

Equally gorgeous is her cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” which is worthy of the repeat button.
