Review: Tyler Ward superb on new ‘Yellow Boxes’ EP (Includes first-hand account)

His EP opens with “Yellow Boxes,” his stellar title track tune, which is worthy of the price of the collection alone. It garnered a rave review from Digital Journal, and rightfully so, since it really tugs at the heartstrings due to its moving message.

“What It’s Like To be Lonely” is a haunting ballad, that will send chills down his fans’ spines. “In A Moment” is a sultry ballad that Ward nails yet again. He showcases his prowess on acoustic guitar and his velvet vocals on the ballad “Use Me.” “Life Is Calling” is laid-back and mellow, featuring Ward’s calming voice.

Ward’s EP closes on an upbeat note with “I’m Not Perfect. You’re Not Perfect. Let’s Hang out,” which is a great deal of fun, that will definitely leave his fans and listeners wanting to hear more.
