Review: Tyler Ward superb on new ‘Yellow Boxes’ EP (Includes first-hand account)

His EP opens with “Yellow Boxes,” his stellar title track tune, which is worthy of the price of the collection alone. It garnered a rave review from Digital Journal, and rightfully so, since it really tugs at the heartstrings due to its moving message.

“What It’s Like To be Lonely” is a haunting ballad, that will send chills down his fans’ spines. “In A Moment” is a sultry ballad that Ward nails yet again. He showcases his prowess on acoustic guitar and his velvet vocals on the ballad “Use Me.” “Life Is Calling” is laid-back and mellow, featuring Ward’s calming voice.

Ward’s EP closes on an upbeat note with “I’m Not Perfect. You’re Not Perfect. Let’s Hang out,” which is a great deal of fun, that will definitely leave his fans and listeners wanting to hear more.

Overall, Tyler Ward delivers on his Yellow Boxes EP. He displays his wide range as a recording artist on this project. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
