Musician and actor Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf” fame) released his new single, the vivacious “Don’t Mind Me.”

It has that retro emo-punk Blink-182 vibe (“Going Away to College” meets “Rock Show”) that all millennials grew up loving. With this tune, Posey is all about not taking life seriously at all.

“Don’t Mind Me” is a track on his highly-anticipated forthcoming studio album “Unravel,” which will be released on May 26.

On his new song “Don’t Mind Me,” Posey said, “It was the last song we wrote for this album. I wrote the guitar and music what feels like almost a year before the lyrics. I sat with it for a while.”

“The production that Matt Malpass put behind the guitar that I wrote reminded me of a very specific time of music in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, so I went with that vibe for the melody. I love the wordy chorus too,” Posey added.

This is the third track that Posey released from his upcoming CD, and judging from the previous tracks “Lemon” and the upbeat “Gravity,” it is safe to say that “Unravel” already sounds promising.

Speaking of “Lemon,” the song was featured in the ending credits of “Teen Wolf: The Movie,” which was an added treat. The film is available for streaming on the streaming service Paramount+.

“Don’t Mind Me” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It is worth more than just a passing glance, and it garners two thumbs up. Grab a beer or two, and allow Tyler Posey to lure you in with “Don’t Mind Me.”
