Grammy award-winning DJ and producer Tracy Young released the first-ever official remix of k.d. lang’s signature tune “Constant Craving” via Nonesuch Records. Digital Journal has the scoop.
Young is delightful on this enthralling remix. She admitted that the project presented several unique challenges.
“I felt a lot of pressure making this remix,” Young said in a press statement. “k.d. has one of the purest voices in music and it was important to maintain its integrity while also redefining the single for today’s dancefloor.
“With all of my music, my goal is always to empower and deliver positive messages of peace, love, and music to all,” she added.
Young was able to dust off a classic tune, remix it, and she did so in a refreshing and vibrant manner. She is also able to introduce “Constant Craving” to a younger generation of fans.
